South San Francisco Logistics Center

In partnership with Centrum Properties and Angelo Gordon & Company, California Commercial purchased the 571,847 square foot warehouse facility from GSA in August 2007. The partnership immediately purchased the adjacent 5.22 acre airport parking lot and 1.15 acre rail spur to increase the GSA parcel to a total of 25.87 acres. After completing the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) process with the City of South San Francisco, the partnership received entitlements in August 2009 to redevelop the former GSA facility into one of the largest logistics centers on the Peninsula. In 2011 Orchard Partners was added to the partnership group, and in 2012, the partnership secured a 20-year lease with FedEx Ground.
